Which stage should our students start with?
Stage 1 starts with letter sounds and sight words (from age 4). Stage 2 builds consonant blends, digraphs and magic e (from age 6). Stage 3 covers long vowels, diphthongs, trigraphs and advanced reading (from age 7). Students of any age can start at the stage that matches their reading level.
